Cheap Holidays to Turkey
Airflights highlight that tourists holidaying in non Euro Turkish Aegean and Mediterranean resorts just carry on increasing bucking the trend of some other holiday destination within the Euro zone. News reports show that Turkey's southern province of Antalya has drawn 5.76 million tourists and holiday makers since the beginning of the year.

The provincial Directorate of State Airports Authority in Turkey said that 1,945 passenger planes rotated from the Antalya Airport (Airport code AYT) on August the 6th 7th and 8th this year carrying some 171,390 tourists.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Directorate of Culture & Tourism said 416,148 tourists arrived in the province in the first eight days of August with a record increase over the figures of last year. 404,205 tourists had arrived in Antalya between August 1 and 8, 2009.

Tourists are returning to the Canary Islands, Greece and the Spanish Costa's as the Euro has seen a recovery from its low points of 2008 / 2009 but the big attractor for a cheap holiday is still Turkey as it still offers fantastic overall value for money say the online cheap flight and holiday agency.

There are still a wealth of cheap flights to Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman available for late holiday deals this summer with strong demand for Summer 2011 as holiday makers look to secure next year's summer holiday early.

The popular holiday resorts of Icmeler, Marmaris, Bodrum, Side and Alanya are proving as popular as ever with many hotels cheaper than last year but still proving to be great value for money. Many are still offering "All inclusive" board basis allowing a family to budget very effectively in these difficult economic times. Booking trends for summer 2011 show that the British holidaymaker still wants his family to have their 2 weeks in the sun rather than rely on the patchy British weather and let's be honest the disproportionally high costs associated with a holiday in the UK. Many Self catering apartments in Turkey are cheaper than staying in a tent on a UK campsite say airflights.

Airflights specialise in cheap flights and holidays to Turkey, The Canaries, Egypt and the Mediterranean area.

HTC Desire HD Confirmed, Desire Z Emerges

HTC Desired Mobile Phone
Some of the latest rumors on this device suggested that HTC would plan making the handset official sometime in September, and it seems that things might be moving into that direction.

In addition to confirming the existence of Desire HD, the online retailer unveiled another upcoming device from HTC, the Desire Z, also running under Google's Android operating system.

Not to mention that a great load of specs were published online, which, providing that they are the final specs of these devices, enable us to make an idea of what HTC has in store for its users.

Starting with the already leaked HTC Desire HD, we should note that it would boast a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, a 1GHz application processor, and an 8-megapixel photo snapper with 720p video capture capabilities.

Other specs of this device would include 4GB of internal memory space, and Google's Android 2.2 OS to power it all.

Previous rumors on this device suggested that it would actually land as the European flavor of HTC EVO 4G, and most of its specs point towards that.

As for the second Android-based HTC mobile phone leaked into the wild now, the Desire Z, it should boast lower specs than Desire HD, though adding a sliding QWERTY keyboard into the mix.

The handset should run under the Android 2.1 operating system, while including a 3.7-inch display and HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity.

HTC's Sense UI should also be included into the mix, offering fast access to social networking sites, so that users can stay in touch at all times with their friends.

No info on when these handsets would be released on shelves emerge, but late September seems to be a good guess, providing that HTC indeed announces them officially in the middle of that month.

Payday loan firms beating banks on rates

Consumers who unexpectedly run out of funds are being charged more for short-term borrowing by some of Britain's biggest banks than payday loan firms.

Someone who needed £175 to tide them over for a week could be charged less than £20 to borrow from a payday loan firm.

But they could end up paying more than twice the amount they borrowed if they use an unauthorized overdraft with Lloyds TSB.

The number of people using payday lenders has quadrupled since the credit crunch began. The loans are designed for people who need to borrow cash for a few days before they are paid.

But experts warn payday loan providers should be approached with caution as the annual percentage rate for borrowing can be more than 2,689%.

They also have unexpected charges if borrowers default on repayments.

Payday loans are not suitable for those looking for longer-term credit or who are unable to pay off debts within a few days.

Borrowing £175 for eight days costs £19.74 with payday loan provider Wonga, but would cost £175.74 with Lloyds TSB, which charges a monthly fee of £5 and a daily fee of up to £25 for going into an unauthorsied overdraft.

A spokesman for Lloyds says: ' Disarranged overdrafts allow customers to make payments immediately from their account without having to enter into a separate new lending arrangement with another third party.
