New CAM software blog kicks off at IMTS

Posted by on | | 0 comments
Sescoi, makers of CAM Software for 2 through Simultaneous 5-Axis programming has launched a blog to coincide with IMTS 2010. The goal of his new CAM blog, which can be found on http://blog.sescoi.com, is to share opinions and comment across the community of CNC machining operators, programmers and professionals.

Jeff Jaje, Marketing & Business Development Manager at Sescoi Inc, will manage the blog. Jeff says, “The timing is right for a CAM related blog. It seems that there are plenty of CAD bloggers out there, but virtually nobody is blogging about CNC programming, machining topics or best practice on a regular basis. My aim is to change that and, because CNC programming is much more than just CAM software, We’ll be covering milling machines, mill controllers, cutters, CAM tips, and much more”.

Experienced programmers, industry experts and representatives from complementary technologies are invited to share blog links and post their comments on Jeff’s blog.

Jeff, who holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University (U.S.A.), and has been involved in the CAM software field since 1990 and has been a speaker on 5-axis CNC machining at industry shows in Japan and the U.S. Meet Jeff on the Sescoi booth (E-3936) at the IMTS show in Chicago on September 13-18 and attend his free seminar on “Utilizing New Software Algorithms to Improve CAM programming, Shorten Mill Times and Increase Security” on September 14.
