Cheap Holidays to Turkey
Airflights highlight that tourists holidaying in non Euro Turkish Aegean and Mediterranean resorts just carry on increasing bucking the trend of some other holiday destination within the Euro zone. News reports show that Turkey's southern province of Antalya has drawn 5.76 million tourists and holiday makers since the beginning of the year.

The provincial Directorate of State Airports Authority in Turkey said that 1,945 passenger planes rotated from the Antalya Airport (Airport code AYT) on August the 6th 7th and 8th this year carrying some 171,390 tourists.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Directorate of Culture & Tourism said 416,148 tourists arrived in the province in the first eight days of August with a record increase over the figures of last year. 404,205 tourists had arrived in Antalya between August 1 and 8, 2009.

Tourists are returning to the Canary Islands, Greece and the Spanish Costa's as the Euro has seen a recovery from its low points of 2008 / 2009 but the big attractor for a cheap holiday is still Turkey as it still offers fantastic overall value for money say the online cheap flight and holiday agency.

There are still a wealth of cheap flights to Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman available for late holiday deals this summer with strong demand for Summer 2011 as holiday makers look to secure next year's summer holiday early.

The popular holiday resorts of Icmeler, Marmaris, Bodrum, Side and Alanya are proving as popular as ever with many hotels cheaper than last year but still proving to be great value for money. Many are still offering "All inclusive" board basis allowing a family to budget very effectively in these difficult economic times. Booking trends for summer 2011 show that the British holidaymaker still wants his family to have their 2 weeks in the sun rather than rely on the patchy British weather and let's be honest the disproportionally high costs associated with a holiday in the UK. Many Self catering apartments in Turkey are cheaper than staying in a tent on a UK campsite say airflights.
